Porcelains

The arrival of porcelain in Europe is due to legendary travelers such as Marco Polo, who on returning from long stays in China, starting from the thirteenth century, imported objects made of a painted and decorated hard ceramic. Among the most famous produced in Italy, there is certainly the prized Capodimonte porcelain, which owes its name to one of the hilly areas of Naples, where in the first half of the eighteenth century King Charles of Bourbon and his wife Maria Amalia of Saxony founded the Real Factory of Capodimonte. In this precious material some of Sara’s Idea collections are made, collectible items treated even in the smallest details, delicate and unique, perfect as gifts or decorative elements for the home or table
